About Me

My name is Tyler Spresser and I am pursuing a doctorate degree with the Department of Integrative Biology, Baum Lab and Wilder Lab at Oklahoma State University. Our research focuses on the change in nutrition for pollinators, specifically bees, in an agroecosystem. More specifically, how introduced pollen is effecting the nutritional content bees need in order to stay healthy.

I completed my Master's education with the Judd Lab under the guidance of Dr. Timothy Judd at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. I also received my undergraduate education here and worked with Dr. Allen Bornstein in plant taxonomy.

I struggled some during my undergraduate career, and if you are as well I highly suggest checking out one of my favorite self tutoring websites, Khan academy. It has a lot of biological videos.
